A Little About Me
My name is Barry, and I live in South Africa and I have a web site called Barry's Place :-)<<How Original!!>> It started off as Barry's Place about 10 years ago and then things were different, the net has certainly changed over the years. My new site has been open for about two and a half years now. Below is the logo of my very fist site that was hosted at Tripod. It was full of adverts and I hated that!! :-)



I work from home and there are two of us running the business. Bubsy and myself. Bubsy does not know how to switch a PC on!! <giggle> She is my marketing lady to potential artists that I get to draw for me. I have one amazing artist that is drawing for the site at the moment and her name is Sue Boshoff. I have also had Carol draw for the site for years. A lot of you may remember me from a previous web site, that I opened years ago, but have not been involved in that site for about 8 years now. I strive to keep making this site better all the time, with new and improved art. So the more support I get the more art I can afford!! I am very blessed to be able to work from home, and no, the site has not made me a millionaire, I do not even have a TV or I cannot even afford one, but who said that hard work does not pay off in the end. All good things come to those who wait (and who work hard)!! :-) I have a gratitude rock that I clutch often to remind me how blessed I am to be doing what I love most!!! I would like to thank everyone that has supported this site in so many ways, to the clients that keep coming back again and again! Bless you all!!

Jane a.k.a. Bubsy
That's Bubsy!! My nearest and dearest friend!! Always on the telephone or her cell phone!! :-) I am not joking. Millions phone her all the time! I don't know how she puts up with it. Bubsy and her Husband funded the establishment of this web site. I stay directly below Bubsy's house, and we see each other as often as we can, which is everyday! She is my pillar of strength and my guide to remaining focused! :-) Seriously, she is a great comfort to me and also to all the other people that *PHONE* her all the time. You will love Bubsy!! I do!! (She only has cigars on special occasions and a non-alcoholic beer, it was her birthday! She really looked lovely!!)

Sue Boshoff - Our Dear Talented Artist!
This is the very lovely lady and my dear new friend Sue Boshoff who is drawing all these amazing new images for us. I can only afford Sue at the moment, but who knows what the future holds. Sue is sweet, kind and uplifting with a wonderful vibe, she is also thinking of becoming a vegetarian!! She has been mixing with us too much!! <<giggle>>! You will also love Sue, I do!

It'z Me Again - A Little Older :-) a.k.a. Baz
That's me AGAIN, and no, I do not love myself so much that I have to post a load of photos of myself all over the net, but I know it is nice to see who is at the other end of a website - so here we go - - - plenty pictures of me and you will always find me at the PC hard at work. I sometimes never leave my room for days as I have such a lot of work to do to keep Barry's Place alive and kicking as well as working for a USA Photographer and Software Developer in Spain!! So you can imagine, if you do write me and I do not reply, I humbly bow down to you and beg you my apologies most sincerely!
